OUR MANDATE

The Finance and Investments Section oversees the financial management and regulatory compliance of the Agency. We aim to foster local business growth, assist small to medium-sized enterprises (SMMEs), and promote community engagement. Our services include Investment Promotion, Business Promotion, Business Retention, and Expansion.

SUB-SECTIONS

FINANCE

Performs several functions, including budgeting, financial reporting, compliance, internal controls, forecasting and analysis, treasury management, grants management, payroll and benefits administration, financial planning and strategy, and risk management.
These functions ensure sound financial planning, reporting, and compliance within the Agency.

INVESTMENTS

Engages with the informal economy and small enterprises to understand their needs and challenges;
Develop initiatives and programs for informal businesses and small enterprises;
Identify opportunities for expanding manufacturing activities within the Agency’s jurisdiction;
Promote investment opportunities that support economic growth and infrastructure development.
Offer assistance with business planning, financing, market research, and access to resources and
